A note on bcrypt and Argon2
Bcrypt and Argon2 need server-side libraries, so this offline tool uses PBKDF2-SHA256 with a random salt and 310,000 iterations — a widely accepted standard. For real user accounts, always hash on your server (bcrypt, Argon2id or PBKDF2). Plain SHA-256, SHA-512 and MD5 are unsalted and fast to crack; they are included only for compatibility and testing.
